What religion teaches a 2nd & 3rd heaven and why do they believe that?

Mormons are taught that there are 3 levels of Heaven. They believe this because some Mormons are better than others, and deserve to be closer to God, who is at the top level of Heaven. For the "less than perfect" or non- practicing Mormons, there are the other two levels for them to dwell.
